As the Chief Executive Officer for jetAVIVA, Emily Deaton leads one of the largest private jet sales organizations in the world as measured by total annual transaction volume. Deaton joined jetAVIVA in early 2019 and served as Vice President of Sales and COO before assuming the executive leadership of the firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida and is active in the International Aviation Women’s Association, Space Coast Women in Aviation Alliance, and is a Board Member for Angel Flight West.

As Chief Motivational Officer at SBACC, I bring over 25 years of business aviation experience to my role. This experience stems from working in my family’s former FBO, Showalter Flying Service (KORL), leading regional business aviation associations in Florida, and most recently recruiting business aviation talent for corporate flight departments.

Pairing my work experience with my roles as the wife, daughter, and sister of business aviation pilots, I feel I am uniquely qualified to help you navigate your business aviation career.

With a reputation that reflects my passion for people and the business aviation industry, my ability to maintain confidentiality is second to none. Whether you need a new resume, LinkedIn review, interview practice or an educated listening ear, I look forward to helping!

I proudly serve as a founding member and Board Secretary for the Central Florida Business Aviation Association - CFBAA, and am a proponent of industry involvement.

My husband, Matthew Olafsen, is a corporate pilot who spent nine years in the airlines and six years flying in Africa before finding his home in business aviation. We have two teenage sons, Evan and Kyle Harwood, who keep life exciting to say the least. As a blended family with multiple last names, we have dubbed ourselves “The SHO Family.”

Tom is a husband, father, and lover of aviation.  When he first started learning about private jets, he noticed there wasn't a lot of content available for people who wanted real, down-to-earth information without any fluff or pomp.  He knew that many people were curious before they buy a private jet, and he wanted to be a guide for the curious to the serious, and those in-between.  Tom pulls back the curtain on private aviation to help individuals buy, sell, or charter jets without wasting time or losing money.

Tom is the author of the Ultimate Jet Guide for buyers, sellers and charter; and his most recent guide focuses on investing in a private jet to generate revenue when you're not using it.

Tom is passionate about the Next Generation of Aviation professionals and is a contributor at Aircraft Broker Academy helping shape the future of jet sales through online learning.

An avid Miami Dolphins fan with high hopes and expectations. A Fitness Enthusiast with intense will. And an Aviation Intellect with unrivaled passion.

I am a self-driven Business Aviation professional with advanced skills in Data Analysis, Financial Analysis, Project Management, and Critical Situational Thinking Skills. I am currently assisting Corporate Flight Departments in keeping their organizations in congruence with IRS, SEC, and FAA Regulations.

Early on in the Business Aviation journey I became passionate about helping others propel their careers. After graduation I got to see first-hand how many of my classmates struggled to find work and were forced to work jobs that they were overqualified for. From that point on, I professed my allegiance to helping Young Professionals in the Business Aviation community become more qualified, marketable, and competent at the jobs that they occupy and aspire to.
