Scholarship Program |
The CFBAA Foundation is now offering three scholarships for the upcoming year. The portal is open and with an application deadline of May 31, 2024. Besides the general information requested, applicants are asked to upload a 45 second video about their goals in the corporate aviation industry.
CFBAA for Incoming College Students
This award is for a Florida high school student wishing to pursue a career in corporate aviation applying to a Florida based accredited program (Aviation Accrediation Board InternationaI and FAA approved). The award is a one time award to be utilizied as the awardee begins their university studies. As one creates their 45 second application video it is recommended to provide a statement on how the scholarship may assist the student in their goals for future employment in the corporate aviation industry.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be a resident of Florida.
Applicant must be an incoming college student.
Applicant must be attending a college/university with an FAA and/or accredited program.
Applicant college/university must be located in Florida.
Scholarship for Current College Students
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide aid to a currently enrolled student in an FAA approved or AABI accredited university who has a career goal to work in the corporate aviation industry in the future. It is recommended as you create your 45 second application video for this scholarship to please state what the first career goal you may have upon graduating.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be a resident of Florida.
Applicant must be a current college student.
Applicant must be a college/university with an FAA and/or AABI accredited program.
Applicant college/university must be located in Florida.
CFBAA for Employees in the Corporate Aviation Field
This award is aimed at assisting a professional already employed in the corporate aviation industry looking to expand their professional qualifications with additional skills. Among possible examples of this would be earning a certification in a specific field or a new type rating.
Applicants are asked to please state the goal of the additional learning activity invloved in and how it may assist you in your career path in corporate aviation during your 45 second video.
Qualifications
Applicant must be a resident of Florida.
Applicant must currently be working in the Corporate Aviation field.
